Job Duties:
Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults
Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts
Perform scheduled maintenance and service
Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanism and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts
Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
Keep maintenance reports and documentation
Installation and alignment of engines and machinery
Occasionally drive to attend to service calls
Requirements
Education: Completion of secondary education is required
Experience: At least 5 years of experience with material handling equipment is required.
Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Work under pressure, Hand-eye coordination, Ability to distinguish between colours, Handling heavy loads, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling.
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication, Efficient interpersonal skills, Reliability, Client focus, Accurate, Judgement, Team player, Organized.
Driver’s License class 5 is required
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty, Odours, At heights, Hot, Outdoors
Language: English is required.
Salary: $35.00 hourly, 40 hours per week

Important Information: Work schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Weekends, on call service and overtime may apply depending on the business needs.
